This year marks the 4th annual Waves and Wishes 5K run/walk held at Folly beach, benefiting Charleston’s chapter of Make a Wish Foundation.

Join other locals and not-so-locals at the Folly Beach Pier on Saturday, September 27, to help put smiles on a sick children’s faces.

Early registration is possible until September 21, with which participants will receive a t-shirt with the $25 registration fee.

The event starts at 8:00 a.m., but locals that are slacking can still register that morning but will pay late registration. Immediately following the race there will be a party for all the runners at Locklear’s Beach City Grill on the Pier.
