The Historical Beaufort Foundation confirmed in a press release this week that a dinner-lecture will be hosted at the Verdier House from on Monday, March 28.

The event will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and will boast professional engineer and member of the newly-formed "Friends of Ft. Fremont" Dr. Ray Rollings as its keynote speaker. Rollings apparently plans to talk through a number of historical photographs to illustrate the history of Fort Freemont and dispel many common day misconceptions regarding its structure.

Tickets for the lecture are per member $15 or $25
per member couple, while non-members will be charged $20 per single or $30 per couple. A further three-course meal from Saltus River Grill will be offered for $19 for all attendees of the lecture.

Reservations can be made by calling (843) 379-3331
