Beaufort's ARTworks in Beaufort Town Center tonight will hold the opening reception for Arts Bizarre: relish the eclectic, which will run at the gallery through December 31.

Here's how ARTworks describes this show:

Five artists present a vivid holiday show of contemporary paintings, organic silver jewelry, sealife assemblages, and textured claywork.  The spicy group includes Deanna Bowdish & Terry Brennan (of ARTprize Fame), Benton Lutz, Laura Silberman and Elizabeth Thompson.

Tonight's reception will run from 6 to 8 p.m., and the show runs Tuesdays through Saturdays until Dec. 31.
