What does Georgia have against the Girl Scouts? Now they want to tax their cookies?

First it was the controversy over the Girl Scouts not being able to sell cookies from their traditional Savannah spot in front of the Juliette Gordon Low house. (read up on that here)

Now the Georgia state legislature is considering requiring  the Girl Scouts to charge a sales tax on each box of Thin Mints.

Yes, a sales tax. For the record, South Carolina offers the Girl Scouts an exemption on their delicious cookies.

We'll send you to WSAV for its coverage of this controvery. Like we said, it's been a bad year for the Girl Scouts.
