The City of Beaufort discussed last week the possibility of freeing-up locations that would allow a number of businesses to open on Boundary Street, along with a "surgical infill" in the empty lots located on Charles Street, and a parking deck new bay street.
The discussion are all part of a continuing "block-by-block" review of Beaufort's downtown area, hosted for the pupose of boosting the area's economy by listening to land owners, residents and small business owners.
The Beaufort Tribune has some decent coverage of the event, follow this link to read it.
