Update May 21: The odd story continues to snowball, with Tanya Young-Williams now seeking charges.

Along with this bit of news comes more alleged details — check out the latest over at The Island Packet.

First reporting: A rather bizarre story seems to be developing out of the northern part of the county involving the ex-wife of incarcerated former NBA star Jayson Williams.

According to information The Island Packet received Thursday, May 19, from the Sheriffs office, Tanya Young-Williams saw two men, Charles Houston and Michael Walter, load her $12,000 golf cart into a loading truck. According to the report, Housten and Walter were taking the cart as part of the agreed split of the couple's assets as a result of the divorce.

Ms. Young-Williams, according to Housten and Walter, jumped repeatedly onto and off of the truck in an attempt to dislodge the golf cart, and finally managed to do so after the man who was driving the truck (believed to be Housten) began to drive away from the site with the cart before coming to a sudden halt. Ms. Young-Williams is believed to have sustained minor injuries from the fall.
