Outrage from the Hispanic community regarding the Christmas Eve shooting of Carlos Alberto Olivera during a dispute in a Bluffton neighborhood is a story we've been expecting for some time, and it's now been provided by WSAV's Holly Bounds.

Bounds spoke with the staff over at Radio Sol, the Lowcountry's only Hispanic radio station, and they said they've seen a major spike in calls from people frustrated with what occurred and how authorities have handled it to date.

Preston Oates, charged in the shooting (though not initially) is being held in jail without bond.
