The McDonald's restaurant located on 277 Sea Island Parkway was subjected to an armed robbery in the early hours of the morning on Thursday, May 19.

According to the Sheriffs Office's reporting of events, an unknown black suspect wearing dark clothing with a mask concealing his identity entered the fast-food restaurant just after midnight, and instructed the employees at gun point to lie on the floor, and order the store manager to gather the money on-site. The suspect fled the scene shortly after.
