Beaufort County hoping iPads will increase office efficiency

Employees of Beaufort County were the lucky new recipients of some brand new iPads last year, according to a feature article published in The Island Packet.
A study conducted internally by the county found that purchasing and implementing the use of iPads into their businesses could help them "go green," and save money in the long term. According to the report, 15 iPads costing approximately $400 a device were distributed to employees last year, and early word is that printing costs and time spent rifling through documents has been on the decline ever since.
