Wilson, Miller congressional battle is nation's priciest (w/FEC summaries for each candidate)

According to a report filed by McClatchy's DC bureau the Joe Wilson vs. Rob Miller race for the 2nd Congressional District is the nation's most expensive, with the candidates raising a combined $7.3 million.

You of course will remember that a ton of money for both incumbent and challenger came rolling in after the illustrious 'you lie' incident during the State of the Union. Since then the two candidates have been involved in a muddy campaign war over the television airwaves.

The story also states that Wilson, the Republican incumbent, is 7 points up on Miller, the former Marine Corps captain. Wilson topped Miller by 8 points in 2008.
