Reported December 28: A new facility in Bluffton aimed at helping overweight teens lead a healthy lifestyle has gotten a staffing and promotional boost from the arrival of Patrick House, winner of the popular television show "The Biggest Loser."
House has signed on to help out at Mindstream, which dubs itself a "fun, innovative co-ed boarding program where teens achieve healthy weight, get fit and build self esteem by nurturing their Mind • Body • Spirit. In this positive, safe and caring natural environment, we teach teens proven, healthy life-skills to handle the daily stress and triggers that have led to their unhealthy eating habits."
