Foreign hackers trying to infiltrate SC DMV computers daily

According to J.R. Sanderson, director of operations at the DMV, there have been approximately 90 attacks from foreign hackers, mostly from China, since the start of 2012.

What are they looking for? The personal information of drivers in South Carolina.

So far, all attack attempts have been deflected, and Sanderson reassures that they are doing everything possible to protect DMV's network.

Since most of the hackers are from foreign countries, the DMV contacted the FBI. FBI's cyver-security squad is helping to protect the DMV's network and database.
