Only weeks ago Port Royal Elementary School was facing its closure, but today hundreds of people came together to celebrate 100 years of history and to celebrate 100 years to come.

Speakers at the celebration included former principals, Port Royal Mayor Samual Murray and Board of Education Chairman Fred Washington.
