First reported June 29: The Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting that a 6-year-old Marietta, Ga., girl is recovering after being bit by a shark off of Fripp Island. 

The girl's father told a Georgia television station that he "felt something nail me on the back of my thigh and before I even had time for it to register, I felt something tug at (her.)"
