A new pedestrian crossing, sign for Newcastle Street

The pedestrian crossing sign at Scott Street doesn't have an easy life.
Hoping to improve safety, a new painted crosswalk and pedestrian crossing sign is going up at Newcastle and Bay streets — brings the total of these "pedestrian crossing" signs to four by my count. A shame that a crosswalk isn't enough to make drivers stop.
