Haley support strong but waining in early polls; DeMint crushing Greene
Rasmussen Reports has conducted an early survey of some of the big questions in the coming November election.
Among the results:
- While Republican gubernatorial candidate Nikki Haley continues to hold a double-digit lead over Democratic State Senator Vincent Sheheen, her polling is for the first time below 50% -- 49% said they support her, while 35% said Sheheen.
- Likely South Carolina voters give DeMint 62% support, while Alvin Greene is just getting 20%.
- Also included were the expected trends of favoring clamping down on illegal immigrants, disapproving of Obama's job, and wanting repeal healthcare reform.
