More improvements coming to downtown Beaufort's Duke Street
On Tuesday night Beaufort leaders said they would spend $225,259 in local funds to further improve Duke Street in downtown from Harrington to Charles street, building upon work done from Bladen and Harrison streets last year.
In all the work will build up nearly $2 million worth of streetscapes in downtown over the last 5 years.
