The AARP of South Carolina and NBC News 2 are hosting the first debate for the 1st Congressional District between Republican Mark Sanford and Democrat Elizabeth Colbert-Busch on April 17 at the Medical University of South Carolina at 8 p.m.

NBC News 2 will be covering the event and will make a video stream available online. Public seating is limited to the MUSC Bioengineering Building auditoriums and is offered on a first come, first served basis. Auditoriums will open at 6 p.m.
