Charleston and, namely, its food gets more love from an L.A. Times piece

Charleston's really go some love last week, on the heels of the New York Times publishing "36 Hours in Charleston," The Los Angeles Times has published a piece called "Charleston is a food lover's paradise."

While I don't know if the article is really worth a read by any of us locals, the part that may be of most interest (and is the strangest bit) is the lengthy aside on Po Pigs Bo-B-Q in Edisto.

The spot is one of my favorite buffet BBQ joints and I'm glad to see it get so much love but it was a surprising gem in piece that mentioned the worthy but very well known Charleston restaurants FIG and Hominy Grill

But, at any rate, here's a link to Jessica Garrison's piece.
