Local authors look for funding online

Two local authors that live on the southern end of the Grand Strand are seeking funding on the popular website KickStarter.

The books they are looking to fund are quite different from each other; one is a cute children's book about a lady bug named Bob, and the other is a book about Intrigue, innuendo, titillation, and tingling toes.

The first, Bob The Ladybug: Bob's New Pants, is a book that stars a lady bug with one mission in mind, "to provide young children with fun and colorful stories that will educate them to open their minds, accept diversity and end bullying."  The author, Tommy Starling lives in Pawleys Island with his husband and daughter.  Bob The Lady Bug is illustrated by Jacquie Gonzalez.

The next local author, Lyn Feola Rumage, resides in Surfside Beach and has two self published books out already - PWT and Myrtle Beach Mayhem.  She is seeking funding to have her newest book, Myrtle Beach Madness, available in, "book stores, hotels, resorts, restaurants, and every outlet possible along the greater Grand Strand and low-country coastline." Rumage also plans to use the power of social media to propel her work onto the top of the New York Times book sales chart.
