With the price of seafood declining and stiff competition from cheaper imports, for years local shrimpers and fishers are having a hard time connecting with their market.

Not anymore.

People in the business have realized they have to get off the docks and onto the internet via Facebook, company web sites as well as the new seafood component to a new South Carolina site for Market Maker.
