Update February 29: LaBarge+Partners, along with other creative agencies and professionals, has agreed to donate services to a worthy local non-profit organization in need of advertising, marketing and other creative services.

The idea is maddeningly simple - no sleeping, no breaking, no coffee (yeah, right) for 29 straight hours - a crazy endeavor lovingly coined, “29-Madness.”  After careful review, the Association for the Blind has been selected as the recipient of this year’s 29-Madness event.

The 29-hour creative blitz began today, Wednesday, February 29th at 12:01a.m. and will provide the Association for the Blind with a fully integrated marketing plan (logo design, website, public relations strategy, media plan, stationary package, social media programs and more). Participating agencies include LaBarge+Partners, along with McKay Communications, Intellectual Alchemy, Monika Gauthier Design, HelloEveryWear, Rockett Interactive, Henry Mathieu, Benjamin Biddle and Fox Commercial Media.

The 29-Madness Breakfast Reveal will be held on Thursday March 1st at 9 a.m. at Flagship 2, 78 Alexander St., Suite J. Stop by the FS2 think-tank for the 29-Madness Breakfast Reveal for an up-close look at the process and finished product. For more information about 29-Madness, contact Elizabeth McGough at (843) 277-7952 or elizabeth@mckaycomm.com.

First reporting: LaBarge+Partners, a local creative agency, has a unique (and mad) idea: donating its services to local non‐profits in need of advertising. No sleeping and no breaking for 29 hours straight - for free.

After a two-week application period, which ends February 24, LaBarge+Partners will choose the most deserving local non-profit and embark on a 29‐hour creative blitz. At the end of the 29 hours, LaBarge+Partners will reveal a fully integrated marketing plan (logo design, website, Public Relations strategy, media plan, stationary package, social media programs, etc.). LaBarge+Partners is offering this service free of charge, using Leap Day as an opportunity to give back to a non‐profit that supports the Charleston community.

Interested parties can apply online. The winner will be announced Monday, February 27 at 9 a.m. with 29Madness kick‐off taking place on Wednesday, February 29 at 12:01 a.m.
