The entire shopping center -- named Rivertowne Place -- will be measured on sustainable building and landscaping, pollution prevention, indoor air quality, energy efficiency, recycling, and use of renewable materials, among others.

The Charleston Regional Business Journal has a full write-up with some additional facts.

If you're overjoyed, come out to the groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, May 19, at 10 a.m.

Harris Teeter looks to be on the up and up in Charleston with other new locations under way at Six Mile Road and U.S. 17 and the St. Andrews Shopping Center in West Ashley.
