What do designer pies, girl power panties, and Caviar & Bananas have in common?

Three local women entrepreneurs are teaming up for an evening of “Pie and Panties” at Caviar & Bananas. Making their Charleston debuts are 3.14 Pies and Private Eyes Undies in a one-night-only event hosted by Caviar & Bananas co-founder Margaret Furniss.

3.14 Pies, founded by Lindsay Doolittle, is a company whose mission is to transform pie from an American classic to an imaginative designer dessert. Doolittle will be showcasing four pies including: The Salted Rim Margarita, The Blackberry Cabernet, and The Chocolate-Peanut Butter Fusion each made from the finest and freshest local ingredients.

Each pie will be matched with a pair of panties by Private Eyes Undies. Private Eye Undies Chief PantyMaker and Founder, Margaret Bjork will be showcasing her premier line of “girl power panties,” which feature sassy expressions aimed to make women laugh and feel empowered. From her “Days of the Week” collection to more spunky “I Am Not the Note Taker” designs, these undies have a distinct personality all their own.

And for those not quite comfortable talking pie and panties in public, Caviar & Bananas will be offering a complimentary glass of bubbly to help ease the nerves. Come out and show your support for women in business! This event will take place on Wednesday, May 26, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Caviar & Bananas and is free and open to the public.

Caviar & Bananas is located in Historic Charleston at 51 George Street. Learn more about Private Eyes Undies on their website and 3.14 Pies on their Facebook page.
