Thieves steal $4K worth of copper from Berkeley Electric Cooperative (update: arrests)

Update March 30: Three in their early 20s have been arrested on charges of second-degree burglary in the case.

First reporting March 29: Charleston police are asking the public to turn over any information regarding the people responsible for breaking into the Berkeley Electric Cooperative building and stealing $4,000 worth of copper coils.
Anyone with information about the theft, which took place at 3351 Maybank Highway, is asked call Charleston police at (843) 577-7434 or Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-5111.
