First Report March 10th: The Children's Museum of South Carolina will be hosting its annual Flip Flop Ball benefit on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the 2nd Avenue Pier.

Did you know that The Children's Museum of South Carolina began operation in 1994, in a 1200 square-foot space, at a local mall? It's hard to believe that this valuable community resource had such humble beginnings. As a parent, I can tell you, firsthand, how important this facility is for local and visiting families.  Attending the Flip Flop Ball fundraiser is a great way to show the museum how much we appreciate their dedicated efforts on behalf of our community.

Individual ticket prices start at $100 and include an open bar, food, entertainment, and a silent auction. Or you can make a date out of it for $175.  They are also accepting sponsorships and silent auction donations.

For more details on this event please see The Children's Museum website, here.
