The Charleston City Paper has dropped out a new weekly event calendar feature that, apparently, shows the next 7 days of events in a compact little grid format.

It's a visual and information-rich layout that one might see in a print magazine so that means it's not quite perfect for some older generations of Web browsing technology but those of us using newer devices can quickly scan a weeks worth of events.

Sure, it's got tiny fonts that will make your grandmother cry, but she needs to learn how to use the "CTRL +" combo in her Web browser.

Also couldn't figure out how to go a week in advance, but that probably makes sense as the paper has yet to pick out any highlights of the week.
