The Citadel posted a seven-run rally in the eighth inning to propel the Bulldogs to a 10-4 win over the College of Charleston, clinching the series victory over the Cougars.

Kyle Jordan’s two-run double jump-started the rally. Nine consecutive batters safely reached base for the Bulldogs in an inning that saw three pitchers for the Cougars take the mound.

The Citadel are now (33-20, 19-10 SoCon) and assures the Bulldogs of finishing no lower than fourth in the Southern Conference. Charleston (35-19, 17-12 SoCon) is now fighting to stay out of fifth place.
