Charleston has three events for Worldwide Photo Walk day

For the third year in a row the Worldwide Photo Walk will happen, and this year there will be three walks in the Charleston area.
The events work like this: You sign up for one of the free walks on the website (a max of 50 per walk) and then show up on Saturday, July 24th, to walk around and take pretty pictures. After the walk generally people meet up at a bar somewhere to be social and compare shots and what not.
After that you can enter your favorite pictures into a competition for a shot at some photography gift certificates -- but don't get too excited as you'll likely be going up against 30,000+ photographers for 12 prizes.
In all there are some 950 walks and counting, but as for the three local walks:
- The downtown Charleston walk will likely be the most popular and as of this writing has 19 of 50 slots taken.
- There is one on the old Navy Base and has 13 of the 50 slots taken.
- The third is in downtown Summerville and has 5 slots taken.
Happy photoing.
