Explore options for organic and sustainable nuptials at the Eco Bridal Gala

On Thursday, May 3rd from 6 to 9 p.m., celebrate the release of Charleston’s first Eco Bridal Guide and Film at Magnolia Plantation.

This beautiful event will highlight local businesses that are mindful of using organic and sustainable materials for weddings and other occasions. This celebration will be styled by Blue Planet Green Events and hosted by Marcus Amaker, Sarah Poe, Pistil Films, and Rachel Gordon. The guide is designed by local graphic designer Jessie Crouch.

The event will keep you dancing with music by The V-TONES, Classical Guitarist Gregory Guay, Chouette Noir and the Shrimp Records family band including Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent. There will also be a collaborative fashion installation by ONE LOVE, Treats for Tresses, Angel Hall, Heather Key Tiller and more.

In addition there will be a live wax pouring by Rewined candles, hand dyeing paper demonstration by The Peoples Press, 10 minute chair messages by One’Respe, and hair stylings by Natalie Errthum. This event will give all attendees an up close look at the creative process of some of our very talented local artisans.

Hungry? The Eco Bridal Gala will include a Lowcountry boil from The Smoking Pot, vegan bites from Bull Street Gourmet, local food from Maya Morrill and sweet treats from WildFlour Pastry. Ice Box will provided drinks.

Additional business that will be showcasing their art and craftsmanship include; Sarah Poe Photography, Billy Reid, Dish It, Alan Poe Officiant, McGregor’s Custom Framing, Ocean Sol Body Work, and Jonny Cosmetics.

Tickets can be bought online or at ONE boutique, 478 King Street, upstairs. Prices are $30 in advance, and $40 at the door.
