On July 20 and 21, the Charleston Friends of the Library are hosting a book sale at the John’s Island Branch of the Charleston County Libraries.

At the sale you'll find great bargains, good books and a chance to support your library system. Books, DVDs, and CDs, will be available with prices starting at $1 for paperbacks and $3 for hardback books. Items include mysteries, romances, classics, children’s books, local histories, cookbooks and a variety of non-fiction topics.

Admission is free on both Friday, July 20 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, July 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All are invited to the sale which is being held at 3531 Maybank Highway.
