The Gold key Jazz Society is having their first Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival this weekend, April 27 through April 29, 2012 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. 

The Gold Key Jazz Festival will feature some great jazz artists such as Joey DeFrancesco, Carrie Jackson, El Jaye Johnson, Dante Lewis, Ronnie Laws, Tom Browne, Calvin Edwards, Emmitt 'Mr. Blues' Williams, and more.  The Sun News has a write-up about the event, complete with a Q&A with some of the local musicians who'll be participating and a breakdown of each day's schedule.
