Artist Robert Lange is showing off his new collection of 25 works dubbed "Measure Creatures Great + Small."

It all boils down to an experiment with scale, from giant chipmunks to tiny rhinos the exhibit is an "investigation into how the size of an animal effects our interaction with them."

The work goes on view on Friday, September 4th, and stay up until the 30th. The show is from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 151 East Bay Street in downtown Charleston.

You can learn much more about the show in an article in Preview, or check out samples of the painting on Lange's Web site.

And don't forget that the nearby First Friday On Broad art walk event will be going on at the same time.
