The X Factor holding auditions in Charleston

Fox's megahit television show, The X Factor, will hold auditions at the North Charleston Coliseum Performing Arts Center for its upcoming season, with registration opening at 6 a.m. on Sunday, March 17.

Registration will run through Tuesday, March 19 and auditions will take place on the 19 as well. Singers and vocal groups ages 12 and above are invited to try out for a spot on the show. After receving a registration wristband, contestants will begin auditioning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday. Those interested can follow this link for registration.

Tryouts will also be taking place in New Orleans, Louisianna on April 14, Long Island, New York on April 25, and Denver, Colorado on May 14.

Tate Stevens won the second season of The X Factor and the coveted $5 million record deal with Sony. He is currently working on releasing his first studio album.
