Head over to the Shrimpin' & Shaggin' 2008 Festival for tasty shrimp, live music, a dance contest, and, of course, lots of shaggin.
Here's a bit about the festival from their Web site:
Put on your dancing shoes and bring the family to the 3rd Annual Shrimpin' & Shaggin' Festival. Festival goers will delight in fresh served local shrimp dishes while listening to the classic beach music sounds of the Original TAMS... There will also be a jump castle, facepainting with Merry Making Face and Body Art, speed boat rides on The Thriller. ...

1:00 Shrimp Dish Contest
1:30 The TAMS take the stage
2:30 Dance Contest
3:00 The Tams
The event is at the Charleston Maritime Center (next to the aquarium) on Sunday, September 14, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10.
