Local non-profit organizations Slow Food Charleston and the Children’s Garden Project are getting together to host a kid-friendly fundraising event to showcase the progress Sanders-Clyde Elementary students have made on their organic garden, planted one year ago.
Make you way to Sanders-Clyde Elementary School located at 220 Nassau Street on October 8 between 5 and 7 p.m. to see the impressive garden the students created. Wholly Cow Ice Cream and Island Coffee will provide tasty treats. Also expect live music and cooking demonstrations.
This event is free for everyone, however, donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated.
