Update: Check out the videos.

The Charleston area's two annual chances to get a (little) chilly in the ocean's water are returning.

You can head down to Folly Beach for their 2013 Polar Bear Plunge at noon. Head down to the east side of the pier and stick around for the oyster roast afterwards.

You can also head to Sullivan's Island for the Dunleavy’s Pub Polar Plunge to benefit the South Carolina Special Olympics. That event will kick off around 11 a.m. when people gather for food and drink and the walk to the beach begins at 12:30 p.m. with the plunge at 1 p.m. (you can also donate online).
