If family isn't your favorite part of Christmas, here's where to drink

- Once you have had enough of Christmas with the fam', it's time to get some fresh air. Here are some local joints that want to help you celebrate.
- North Charleston:
- The Mill in Park Circle is hosting a Co-worker Christmas Night with the V- Tones at 7 PM with Yuletide drink specials.
- West Ashley:
- Gene's Haufbrau is open, of course. Appropriately decorated for the holidays, with over 150 different beers, and a healthy dose of board games, Gene's is always open on Christmas. But don't come hungry. Doors open at 6:00 PM, but the kitchen is closed for the evening.
- Downtown:
- The Upper Deck Tavern is hosting their third annual There is No God TING Art Show. Doors open at 6 PM and the dress code is wear black, white and optional red. Enjoy DJs and party specials at the bar.
- Acs Bar & Grill is also opening their doors at 6 p.m. on Christmas Day, so bring your Christmas money and be prepared to stretch it for Beer of the Month. Big John's
- Tavern on East Bay is celebrating 12 Days of Christmas with a grand prize giveaway on Christmas night. Stop by anytime this weekend for your chance to win free booze and schwag, and be sure to show up on Christmas to take a stab at winning a 3day/2night stay in Vegas and more free booze and schwag.
