The first official weekend of summer is set to kick off with a bang at Fridays on the Point.

The weekly outdoor concert takes place every Friday afternoon from 5:30 until 9:30 p.m. at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina on Patriot’s Point. Friday, May 27th, marks the midway point in the 2011 season, and there's no better way to begin the long holiday weekend than with crowd favorite The Dave Matthews Tribute Band.

Patrons can enjoy $2 Bud Light draft beer during happy hour as well as featured beverages from sponsors Captain Morgan, Landshark Lager, and Jeremiah Weed Sweet Tea. The 2011 season runs every Friday through June 24th.

Tickets are available for $5 at the gate, and there is plenty of free parking on the street or valet parking for $5.
