Charleston area residents are invited to kick off the holiday season in a jubilant celebration of North Charleston’s award-winning work in community development. Metanoia, which works with the Chicora Cherokee Neighborhood to create a strong neighborhood, is hosting its annual Christmas Jubilee at 6 p.m. Thursday, December 2nd at the Charleston Area Convention Center in North Charleston.

Guests can enjoy dinner and a silent auction along with a holiday program of singing and dancing starring Metanoia’s Youth Leaders. Metanoia representatives will showcase the organization’s efforts to build leaders, establish quality housing and generate economic development. Award-winning Christian songwriter Kyle Matthews will perform as well.

Attendees will learn more about Metanoia and opportunities to get involved in the organization.

“The Jubilee is becoming the way many Lowcountry residents usher in the holidays,” says Metanoia CEO Bill Stanfield. “What better way to celebrate a season of giving and sharing than by recognizing our youth and their accomplishments. We look forward to sharing this year’s accomplishments with Jubilee attendees while we mark the beginning of the holiday season.”

Tickets are $30 per person; $15 for children; $240 for a table. Advance purchase is required by November 19th. For information on the Jubilee or to purchase tickets, call (843) 529-3014.
