Charleston's Music Farm announced yesterday that Public Enemy will be taking the stage on September 15th and it has created quite the buzz.
Public Enemy rewrote the rules of hip-hop, becoming the most influential and controversial rap group of the late '80s and, for many, the definitive rap group of all time. The group, known for their politically-charged lyrics, criticism of the media and ability to channel accurate portrayals of the African American experience changed the entire rap game.
Chuck D, Flavor Flav, Professor Griff and and the crew are headed our way, so get your tickets fast. They go on sale this Friday, July 2nd for $30 each through etix.com.
