Learn how to recycle your food by composting

The Lowcountry Healthy Foods Coalition is partnering with Charleston County recycling to host a class on composting and worm castings on James Island. 

From 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 17th, participants will gather at 836 Riverland Drive. The class is free and open to anyone, but they request that you call in advance: (843) 553-4829. 

This event is outdoors, so bring a hat, sunglasses, chair, sunscreen, bug spray, and something to drink.
