On Monday, November 8th at 7:30 p.m. the South Carolina Aquarium and Pane e Vino invite you to step into the intimate world of Italian food with a relaxing evening of mouth-watering sustainable seafood and seafood education.

Enjoy specially-made dishes highlighting natural products from our coast prepared with an Italian flair, all while learning about how your seafood choices can affect the fish of the future.

Dive into dinner with a cocktail di gamberetti alla Italiana (Italian style shrimp cocktail with toast points) paired with a glass of Prosecco. Second, enjoy an insalata di calamari fritti (lightly-fried calamari, arugula salad, balsamic reduction) paired with a Vernaccia/ Vermentino. For the main course, guests will savor a baccala' alla Romana (Wreckfish bites in a tomato, olives, caper and herb sauce with creamy polenta and sautéed spinach) paired with a Barbera. For dessert, guests will delight in trying a dolce (tiramisu or homemade cheesecake) paired with a cool glass of Limoncello.

Dinner reservations are $45 per person (not including tax and gratuity). Ten percent of the total will go towards the South Carolina Aquarium's Sustainable Seafood Initiative. Space is limited so reserve you spot today. For reservations, please contact Pane e Vino at (843) 853-5955.
