The Charleston Animal Society is putting on the 9th Annual Celebrity Chili Cook-Off at the Maritime Center downtown Charleston on Saturday, December 6, from 1 to 5 p.m.

It's $25 for adults ($10 for kids over 10) and you get adult beverages, chili, oysters, hot dogs and more.

Where's the celebrity bit come in? Local media personalities and big wigs are doing some of the cooking.
