It's oyster roast season in the Lowcountry and the Charleston Visitor Center bus shed is gearing up for some serious shucking action on October 22.

From 7 to 10 p.m. come out and enjoy oysters, chili, hot dogs, beer and wine, as well as live music from Triple Lindy. Proceeds from ticket sales will be forwarded to The Dee Norton Lowcountry Children's Center.

Tickets: $25 in advance or $35 at the door.

The Charleston Visitor Center is located at 375 Meeting Street.
