with Holy City Brewing and the Charleston Beer Exchange.
Social Restaurant + Wine Bar is hosting a Thanksgiving Eve beer dinner on Wednesday, November 23, at 7:30 p.m. with the Charleston Beer Exchange and Holy City Brewing.
For $55, diners will get a four-course meal paired with beers from Holy City Brewing.
The dinner starts with a Tanglewood Pheasant breast and roasted onions, served with Holy City Pilsner. The first-course is grilled rabbit sausage with braised white cabbage, bacon, mustard and potatoes, served with Holy City Pluff Mud Porter. The main-course is a delicious venison and mushroom ‘pot-pie’ cooked with mushrooms, red wine and roasted parsnips in brown butter. The main-course is served with Holy City Oyster Stout. The final dessert-course is a Bosc pear caramel tart with a pecan shell smoked crème Anglaise, served with Holy City Pecan Stout.
