Join the Charleston Parks Conservancy and local volunteers to help keep some of the area's most beloved parks looking their best.

In the upcoming months, there will be three chances for any and all to join in on a Garden in the Parks event. If you plan to attend, please don't show up empty-handed. The Charleston Parks Conservancy asks that you bring your own pruners, garden gloves, and a garden bucket.

Below is everything you need to know about the upcoming gardening sessions:

  • July 12th @ Simonton Park - Those attending should meet at Simonton Park on Morris Street. The event will run from 8 to 10 a.m.
  • July 14th @ Marion Square - Learn about the park and it's rich history while taking home some gardening tips of your own. The event will begin at 8 a.m. on the Calhoun and King Street corner of the park.
  • August 6th @ Windermere Boulevard Community Garden - Those attending should meet behind the Earth Fare on Windermere Boulevard. The event will run from 8 to 10 a.m.

Interested? Great! Now, all you have to do is email Paul Wentz or call the Charleston Parks Conservancy at (843) 724-5003 to let them know you are coming.
