Have questions about what's allowed and not allowed when it comes to voting? Get your facts straight and ask questions when the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) holds a voting rights meeting on Wednesday, October 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Circular Congregational Church at 150 Meeting Street, downtown.

Here's what they said in an e-mail:

A panel of voting rights experts will hold forums in Greenville, Columbia and Charleston beginning Monday and will discuss a wide range of topics including voting by provisional ballot, voter intimidation, student voting, voting by people with disabilities and the voting rights of individuals with criminal records. The panelists will be joined by key local leaders in each of the three cities, and audience members will have ample opportunity to ask questions.
