The County Parks and Recreation Commission is looking for a new four-legged mascot to assist with dog park promotions and events.

Are you are the proud owner of a cute canine you feel could fill the position? If so, head over to Pet Fest 2009 at Palmetto Islands County Park, March 28 and 29.

Pet Fest will be held March 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and March 29 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. It will be a full-weekend of exhibits, demonstrations, experts, entertainment, and more at Charleston's premiere pet festival. Pets must be restrained/leashed at all times. No outside food or beverage.
