CofC Hosting Youth Political Summit on Saturday

The College of Charleston’s Political Science Department is hosting a youth political summit at noon this Saturday, January 26.

The event’s goal is to show younger generations how to get more involved in the election process.

The speakers at the event consists of numerous Democratic panelists. Scheduled to be at the event are: Clay Middleton, former Lowcountry coordinator for U.S. Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C.; College Democrats of South Carolina president James Smith; Berkeley County Democratic Chair Melissa Watson; Chris Covert of the West Ashley Democrats; and Sam Skardon, legislative correspondent for U.S. Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga.

The FREE event will be held at 5 Liberty Street.
